Hide a detail. Race your friends to find it.
Photograph a small detail out in the world (a carved door knocker, a painted brick, an odd sign) and post it as a hidey. Others see a circle on the map, go out and find the exact spot, then snap a matching photo to prove it. First to find it wins the bounty.
Play in your town or with your own group
Town hideys are for everyone nearby. Private groups are for friends, family or workmates, with their own map and leaderboard. Hosts can run timed events and house hunts.
Help and support
How do I find a hidey?
Open the map, pick a circle and walk to it. The spot is somewhere inside the circle. When you're standing at the detail in the photo, tap I'm here and take a matching photo.
It says I'm not close enough
Phone GPS is only accurate to a few metres. Step into the open, away from tall buildings, wait for the signal meter to settle and try again. A missed check-in tells you if you're warmer or colder.
What are credits?
Credits are just for fun. You win them by finding hideys and spend them on bounties and hints. They can't be bought, sold or cashed out. The app has a full "How credits work" guide.
How do I join a group?
Tap the invite link a friend sent you, or enter their invite code in the Groups tab.
Premium
Premium (monthly or yearly) adds events and house hunts, your own names, more town hideys and free hints. Manage or cancel it any time in your iPhone's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
Reporting and safety
Every hidey, find, player and group has a report button. Hideys must be of public places and fixed features only: no people, number plates, homes, children or dangerous spots.
Deleting your account
In the app: Settings → Account → Delete account. This removes your profile, photos and play history.
